CARE GUIDE
WASH & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Every piece we make is built to last — recycled fabrics, reinforced stitching, water-repellent finishes. A little care goes a long way. Here's how to keep your gear performing.
Caps & Hats — Hand wash preferred — or machine wash cold with a mild detergent on a delicate or small cycle. Tumble dry low. Avoid bleach and ironing to protect the UPF finish and recycled fabric structure.
FIVE STEPS TO KEEP IT PERFORMING.
Brush off debris first
Knock off dirt and dust with a soft brush before washing — this stops grit from grinding into the fabric weave.
Hand wash preferred
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, or use a delicate cycle if machine washing. Skip the agitator cycle to protect the brim shape.
Never bleach
Bleach weakens the recycled fabric and fades the embroidery. Spot-clean stains with a soft cloth instead.
Reshape & air dry
Reshape the crown while damp and air dry away from direct heat or sunlight — this keeps the brim stiff and the UPF coating intact.
No iron or dry clean
Heat and dry-cleaning solvents can warp the brim and strip the UPF finish. Let it air dry fully instead.
Your cap is trail-ready.
The Windbreaker — Hand wash preferred — or machine wash cold with a mild detergent on a delicate cycle. Tumble dry low — this is actually recommended to reactivate the DWR water-repellent finish. Avoid bleach, ironing, and dry cleaning.
FIVE STEPS TO KEEP IT PERFORMING.
Close all zips
Zip up fully and fasten any Velcro before washing. This protects the fabric from snagging inside the drum.
Hand wash preferred
Hand wash in cold water for best results. If machine washing, use cold on delicate with a liquid tech-wash detergent — regular soap leaves residue that blocks DWR.
Never bleach
Bleach destroys the DWR coating and weakens the recycled rPET fibres. Spot-clean stubborn stains instead.
Tumble dry low
Recommended. Low heat reactivates the DWR water-repellent finish — 20 minutes in the dryer after washing restores the beading effect.
No iron or dry clean
Heat and dry-cleaning solvents melt the DWR coating. If creased, hang it — the fabric relaxes within a day.
